Oriental Bittersweet
stretches,
limbs caress
three begotten
held tightly still
to heart
as vines
relax;
press against
grief's
gritted
garden
in humble sleep.
So tender
the quiet feel
of love,
of Mother,
who bore more than time
upon weighted shoulders.

May you always remember your mother's
